What is store credit?
Store credit is a payment method that allows you to use a credit balance on your account toward purchases at Rugged Books. You may receive store credit as a goodwill gesture, reward, refund, or as part of a special promotion.
How do I redeem my store credit?
To use your store credit, you must be signed in to your customer account when you checkout. Your available store credit balance will automatically display at checkout in the "Store credit" section. Simply click "Apply store credit" to use it toward your purchase.
Can I use store credit with other payment methods?
Yes! If your order total is more than your available store credit, the credit will be applied first, and you can pay the remaining balance using another payment method such as a credit card or debit card.
What if my store credit is more than my order total?
If you have more store credit than your order costs, only the amount needed to cover your order will be used. The remaining credit will stay in your account for future purchases.
Can I choose to use only part of my store credit?
No, store credit is automatically applied up to the full order amount. For example, if you have $50 in store credit and your order is $100, the full $50 will be applied and you'll pay the remaining $50 with another payment method.
How do I check my store credit balance?
You can view your current store credit balance by signing in to your customer account and checking your account details. Your balance will also display at checkout when you're signed in.
Does store credit expire?
Store credit may have an expiration date depending on how it was issued. You can check the expiration date of your store credit in your account details. Any expiring credits will be used first automatically.
Can I use store credit to purchase gift cards?
No, store credit cannot be applied to orders that contain gift card products.
Do I need to be signed in to use store credit?
